Limit: You may enter one (1) time per week during the Promotion Period. Weekly. Facebook. There is a maximum of one hundred (100) Tiles that an Entrant can receive and can unlock.
Samsung® “Angry Birds® Check-In Challenge Instant Win Game & Sweepstakes” (“Promotion”) is offered and open only to individuals who, at the time of entry, are legal residents of and residing within, the 50 United States, District of Columbia, Canada (except the Province of Quebec) or The United Kingdom, and who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or older. The Promotion is sponsored by three (3) of Samsung’s subsidiaries – in the U.S.: Samsung Electronics America, Inc.; In the UK: Samsung Electronics United Kingdom; In Canada: Samsung Electronics Canada (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Sponsor”). Employees, officers and directors of Sponsor; Ignite Social Media (“Promotion Administrator”); Mercury Promotions & Fulfillment; Rovio Entertainment, Ltd.; and Facebook, Inc. (“Facebook”); and, their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions (collectively referred to herein as the “Promotion Entities”) and other individual and entities involved in the creation, preparation of materials, administration or fulfillment of this Promotion and each of their immediate family members (e.g., spouse, siblings, children, parents and the “steps” of each regardless of where they reside) and those living in the same household as such individuals (whether or not related) are not eligible to enter or win.
HOW TO RECEIVE TILES AND PLAY THE GAME: As stated above, the more Tiles that an Entrant receives and unlocks, the more chances an Entrant has of revealing a Game prize (“Game Prize”) or of revealing more Entries into the Sweepstakes.
(A) TO RECEIVE GAMES SQUARES: Entrants can receive Tiles as follows:
(i) An Entrant will receive three (3) Tiles after s/he has clicked the “Get Started” button and successfully registered to enter the Promotion;
(ii) Once each calendar week starting Monday, October 8, 2012, AT 3:00 A.M., ET, an Entrant can receive additional Tiles, as stated in (a) – (c) below, up to a maximum of fifteen (15) tiles per week, by visiting one of the participating retail locations listed below* and doing one (1) of the following:
a. If the Entrant “checks in” on Facebook, s/he will receive five (5) Tiles; or
b. If the Entrant “checks in” on Facebook and posts a comment, in compliance with
Section 4(D) below; about the Entrant’s participation in the Game, s/he will receive
ten (10) Tiles; or
c. If the Entrant “checks in” on Facebook and posts a photograph of them playing Angry Birds on a Samsung Smart TV, in compliance with Section 4(D) below s/he will receive fifteen (15) Tiles;
(iii) Each day an Entrant can follow the instructions and click the “Invite Friends” button to invite his/her friends that s/he thinks would be interested in playing the Game, the Entrant will receive one (1) Tile at such time that such friend has successfully registered for the Promotion and plays the Game.
(B) TO PLAY THE GAME: To play the Game, an Entrant must click on and unlock one (1) of his/her Tiles (“Game Play”) to see if it reveals (i) a Game Prize, (ii) the receipt of additional Sweepstakes Entries or (iii) a “Try Again” message. After an Entrant has unlocked one hundred (100) Tiles, s/he will not be eligible to receive any additional Tiles; however, s/he will automatically receive ten (10) bonus Entries (“Bonus Entries”) into the Sweepstakes.
