Can you believe it is back to school time already? It’s time to pick out that perfect backpack, make sure back to school clothes are ready, and you have plenty of crayons and #2 pencils. It’s also time for those back to school haircuts! If your budget is tight like most Americans, be sure to visit your local JCPenney salon for a FREE haircut during the month of August for your kids!
Through out the entire month of August, all 949 JcPenney Salons nationwide will offer free haircuts for kids in grades kindergarten through sixth grade to get set styled and ready for back to school. To kick off the month and tie back to the new jcp Caress philanthropy that launched last weekend, jcp will donate $1 to the Boys & Girls Club and 4H for every kids’ haircut given on August 1! This is your chance to get you and your kids styling with a new back-to-school-do and give back to great causes!
The Boys and Girls Club started in 1906 and serves over 4 million young people through membership and community outreach. Many Boys and Girls clubs are in low income and military communities and are there to serve as mentors to youth in need.
4-H is the nation’s largest youth development organization. More than 6 million 4-H youth in urban neighborhoods, suburban schoolyards and rural farming communities stand out among their peers: building revolutionary opportunities and implementing community-wide change at an early age. As the youth development program of the nation’s 109 land-grant universities and the Cooperative Extension System, 4-H fosters an innovative, “learn by doing” approach with proven results.
On August 1st, be sure to visit your local JCPenney Salon for fun kiddo activities! We will be heading out to our JCPenney salon soon and will share with you our JCPenney salon experience!
Be sure to schedule your appointment NOW at your local JCPenney salon before they are completely booked!
Disclosure: I’m a JCP Mom Ambassador and will receive some cool stuff for sharing this info. How awesome is that? Read our full disclosure here.
